Successful Clients

UK Business Club and EBS has many success stories and it gives EBS a vast pool of knowledge and experience. We have been helping small businesses to prosper for many years. Below you are able to read some of the success stories.

Purus

Purus manufactures a wide range of bathroom and sanitation products, and is particularly strong in the wet room sector, on which it has chosen to focus for its entry into the UK market.

The Managing Director of Purus in Sweden came to the UK on a Bridge to Growth delegation trip at the end of May 2007. By 3rd July their UK subsidiary was formed and a UK Director, Peter Bradbourne was appointed.

During the next 6 months Peter Bradbourne worked together with Martin Williams of EBS to develop the brand in the UK and to focus on the Interbuild exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham, where the products had an excellent reception.

Purus has now achieved distribution in Plumbing Trade Supplies, which has over 300 branches and Wolseley Plumb Centre which has over 500 branches. It is also listed in Pulsar, the internet based distributor for building supplies, which has over 9,000 plumbers on their books.

The company recently took on 2 new sales people, bringing the total number employed to 4 and the product is stocked at the Schenker warehouse in Nuneaton in the West Midlands.

Goran Lundin, Managing Director of Purus Group, said "we are very pleased with our development in the UK market and look forward to growing our business in the West Midlands Region. We are particularly grateful to Advantage West Midlands and their partners for the Bridge to Growth program and look forward to a long co-operation".
